Ground Water Cell prepares pre and post monsoon depth to water table maps and ground water quality map for south west Punjab where ground water quality for irrigation is monitored at fixed monitoring stations. The quality map as per contours of Electric Conductivity (Ec) and Residual Sodium Carbonate (RSC) are prepared to delineate the poor quality areas. The results obtained from these maps are used for various studies and recommendations etc.
