Agricultural Information Wing Plays A Major Role In Transmitting The Latest Farm Technology To The Farmers Through Farmers Training Camps And Literature. Various Activities Under Taken Are As Under:-

A) Farmer’s Training

About Three Lac Farmers Are Imparted Training Every Year During Rabi And Kharif Season Camps. The Detail Of Camps are Given as under:

Kisan Call Centre:

        To attend the instant queries of farmers and to provide expert advice in local language, State level Kisan Call Centre has been established since 21.01.2004.  This Centre receives calls from farmers from 6 AM to 10 PM at a Toll Free Number 1800-180-1551 daily. 

        Mobile Apps like I-Khet Machine, Kissan Suvidha App, m-Kisan, Farmers Portal, Cotton Survillence App and Departmental website www.agri.punjab.gov.in are also providing valuable information to the farmers. Farmers are advised to contact local agriculture office for information.
